Background

I’m a data journalist/scientist with broad interests across politics, public health, economics and climate. I'm currently working as a reporter on the data desk at Bloomberg. Previously, I worked on the data science team for the Biden campaign making models and weighting polling data; at Facebook on the applied machine learning team focused mostly on AI for misinformation; and at the Institute for Health Metrics & Evaluations where I contributed to health economics research. Before all that, I studied math and biology at Georgetown University.

My little dog is named Violet.
